Outside of product design, I enjoy creating small handmade pieces inspired by storytelling, nature, emotion, and playful character design. My work ranges from painted rocks and miniature sculptures to hand-painted wood pieces and seasonal crafts.
Rock family
Created using stones collected from Lake Superior, this small project holds a special place for me because it was made during a meaningful transition in my life, when my family grew from two to three. The three rocks became a simple representation of our family, gathered around a small candle designed to resemble a campfire. Using minimal materials and natural forms, the piece captures a quiet moment of warmth, connection, and togetherness
Pocket Landscapes
A small collection of miniature landscape paintings created on wood slices and natural surfaces. Inspired by night skies, forests, mountains, and quiet moments in nature, each piece explored how much atmosphere and storytelling could fit into a very small canvas. Working within limited space encouraged experimentation with composition, color, texture, and scale turning tiny surfaces into little worlds of their own.
